Teenage Joans

Imagine a place far, far away, all the way in Australia! That's where Teenage Joans call home. They come from a city called Adelaide, which is in a part of Australia called South Australia. It's a sunny place with lots of interesting things to see. Think of it like a big playground, but for grown-ups who make music!

Teenage Joans didn't just appear out of nowhere! They started making music together in 2018. That's not too long ago, so they are still pretty new to the music world. They released their very first song, called 'By the Way,' and it made lots of people excited to hear more. It's like when you get a new toy and can't wait to play with it!

These two friends make music that's so good, they've won lots of awards! One of their songs, 'Three Leaf Clover,' even won a big competition for new music. They also have an EP, which is like a mini-album with a few songs. They've won awards for being the best group, best new artists, and even for the best song about being sixteen! Wow!

Teenage Joans play a kind of music called indie rock and punk rock. It's often energetic and fun to dance to. They have two people in the band: Tahlia Borg, who sings and plays the drums, and Cahli Blakers, who also sings and plays the guitar. They work together like a super-team to create their amazing sounds.
