Tchoukball

Tchoukball is a super fun team sport played indoors. You have two teams, and each team tries to score points. To score, you throw a ball at a special bouncy board, like a mini-trampoline, and it has to bounce onto the floor without the other team catching it.

It's a bit like dodgeball mixed with handball, but with a bouncy twist! It's played on a court, kind of like a basketball court, but with these bouncy frames at each end.

This awesome game was invented a long time ago, back in the 1970s, in a country called Switzerland. A smart person wanted to create a sport that was exciting but also safe, so players wouldn't get hurt. That's why in Tchoukball, you can't touch other players!

It's now played in lots of countries all around the world, like Singapore and Taiwan, and even in over 60 countries have their own Tchoukball teams!

Tchoukball is special because it's designed to be safe. You can't tackle or push anyone, so it's great for everyone to play. The main goal is to score by bouncing the ball off the rebounder and making it land in bounds without the other team grabbing it. It's all about quick thinking and good aim. Plus, it's a fantastic way to get exercise and have fun with your friends!

To play Tchoukball, you need a special court, which is usually indoors. At each end of the court, there's a rebounder – that's the bouncy board that looks like a small trampoline. You also need a ball, which is usually about the size of a handball. And of course, you need your teammates! There are seven players on each team, working together to score points and defend their side.
