Svetlana Pankratova

Imagine legs that are longer than a big dog! Svetlana Pankratova had the longest legs of any woman in the world, measuring a super-long 132 centimeters. That's like having legs longer than a playground slide! Even though her legs were so long, her upper body was a normal size. This made her very tall, about as tall as a grown-up basketball player.

Before becoming famous for her legs, Svetlana was a fantastic basketball player! She played for a team at Virginia Commonwealth University in America. She was so good at blocking shots that she still holds two special records for her team that no one has beaten. She was like a superhero on the court, stopping the other team from scoring!

Svetlana once met a very special person named He Pingping. He was the smallest man in the world! They stood together in a famous place called Trafalgar Square in London to show off the Guinness World Records book. It was a funny sight, with the woman with the longest legs next to the smallest man in the world!

Svetlana is not only Russian but also speaks English and a little bit of Spanish. She lived in Spain for a while and even became a coach for a girls' basketball team. She shows us that being unique is amazing, and you can do many different things in life, like playing sports and helping others.
