Superman

Superman is a superhero, which means he has incredible powers and uses them to help people. He wears a bright costume with a big 'S' on his chest and a cape that flies behind him. He's not from Earth, but he came here when he was a baby to keep him safe. He's like a super-powered protector for everyone!

Superman was born on a planet called Krypton, far, far away. His parents sent him to Earth in a rocket ship just before his home planet was destroyed. His spaceship landed in a field, and a kind farming couple, the Kents, found him. They named him Clark Kent and raised him like their own son.

Because he grew up on Earth and is under our yellow sun, Clark Kent has amazing powers! He can fly faster than a jet plane, lift things as heavy as a school bus, and see things from super far away. He's also almost impossible to hurt, like a superhero shield protecting him!

When danger strikes, Clark Kent puts on his special costume and becomes Superman! He flies to help people, stops bad guys, and makes sure everyone is safe. He works in a city called Metropolis, where he also pretends to be a regular reporter named Clark Kent.
