Springtails: The Tiny Jumpers!

Springtails are teeny-tiny creatures, smaller than a grain of rice! They aren't really insects, but they have six legs and live all over the world. Imagine a tiny speck that can leap! You can find springtails almost everywhere! They love damp, dark places. Look in your garden under wet leaves, in moss, or even in your house in damp corners. They live in forests, fields, and even in cold places like the Arctic! They are super adaptable and can survive in many different homes, as long as it's a bit moist.

Springtails are not picky eaters! They love to munch on decaying things like dead leaves, mold, and fungi. Sometimes they eat tiny bits of dead insects too.
