Serengeti: Land of Endless Plains!

The Serengeti is a super big park in Africa, in a country called Tanzania. It's so enormous, it's like having a playground bigger than many countries put together! It has grassy plains that seem to go on forever, just like its name means in the local language. It also has trees, swamps, and rocky hills where animals love to hide and play.

Every year, millions of animals like zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest go on a giant adventure! They walk and run together, looking for fresh grass to eat. This is called a migration, and it's one of the biggest animal parades on Earth! It's so important that the Serengeti is called one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Imagine seeing so many animals all at once!

The Serengeti is also famous for its lions! You can often see them resting and playing in their families, called prides. But it's not just lions! There are about 70 different kinds of big mammals, like speedy cheetahs and strong buffalos. Plus, there are around 500 types of colorful birds flying around. It's a busy place with animals of all shapes and sizes!

This amazing place helps keep our planet healthy. The animals there are special, and we need to protect their homes.
