Sending

Imagine you have a toy you want to give to your friend across the street. Sending is the action of getting that toy to them! It means moving something, or even someone, from one place to another. The person who starts the sending is called the 'sender'. It’s like being a super-fast delivery person, but for anything you can think of, from a letter to a whole person!

People have been sending things for a super long time. Way back, they sent messages by running or riding horses. Then came letters and packages sent by boats and trains. Now, we can send messages and pictures instantly with phones and computers! It’s like going from a snail’s pace to a rocket ship, all thanks to new ideas about sending.

Sending helps us share things and connect with others. It’s how you get birthday presents from faraway family, or how doctors send important medicine to hospitals. Without sending, it would be hard to learn new things, trade cool stuff, or even just say hello to someone who lives far away. It makes our world feel much smaller and friendlier!

There are many ways to send! You can send a letter by putting it in a mailbox, and a mail carrier takes it. You can send a text message through your phone, which zips across the internet super-duper fast. You can even send a person to a new place, like when parents send their kids to school. Each way has its own special way of getting things from one spot to another.
