When the Temples Touched the Sky!
The most amazing thing about Selinunte is its giant temples! The oldest ones were built over 2,500 years ago, which is older than your grandparents' grandparents! Some of these temples were built around a special hill called an acropolis.
Imagine buildings so tall they seemed to reach the clouds, with amazing decorations. Even though the city is gone, these amazing stone structures still stand, telling stories of the past.
