Donald Trump's Second Time as President!

Donald Trump is back as the President of the United States! This is his second time leading the country, starting on January 20, 2025. He's like a superhero who gets to go on another big adventure!

He previously served as president from 2017 to 2021. In the election, he won against Kamala Harris, and his party, the Republicans, also won big in Congress, meaning they have a lot of power to make new rules.

When President Trump started his second term, he made a LOT of decisions really fast! In just eight months, he signed over 200 special orders called executive orders. That's like making over 25 decisions every single month! Some of these orders are so new that people are still figuring out if they are allowed. It's like getting a brand new toy that you're not sure how to play with yet!

President Trump is making big changes. He's focused a lot on immigration, trying to bring back old rules and even talking about sending many people back to their home countries. He also started a new group called the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, to try and save money. On the world stage, he helped make peace between countries like Israel and Iran, which is a really important job!

Donald Trump is the second president ever to serve two times that weren't back-to-back. He's also the first president to have been found guilty of a felony. When he started this second term, he was 78 years old, making him the oldest person to ever be president! Because of a special rule, he can't run for president again after this term.
