Saskia came from a pretty important family. Her dad, Rombertus Uylenburg, was like the mayor of his town and also a big judge! This means Saskia grew up in a family that was well-known and respected. She was born in a place called Friesland, which is in the Netherlands. Being part of such a family probably meant she had a good education and knew many people.
