San Joaquin River

The San Joaquin River is like a giant blue ribbon stretching 366 miles across California! It starts way up high in the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains, like a tiny trickle that gets bigger and bigger. Then, it flows through a super-flat, sunny land called the San Joaquin Valley, which is perfect for growing yummy food. Finally, it joins up with other big waters to reach the giant Pacific Ocean!
