Imagine a band so famous everyone knows their songs! That was The Beatles, and Ringo Starr was their amazing drummer. He didn't just hit drums; he made them sing! He even sang lead on super fun songs like 'Yellow Submarine' and 'With a Little Help from My Friends.' Ringo's drumming made The Beatles' music bounce and groove, making them one of the biggest bands EVER!

Ringo Starr wasn't always a rockstar! He was born Richard Starkey in a city called Liverpool in England. When he was little, he got very sick and had to spend a lot of time in the hospital. But he loved music, especially a kind called skiffle. He started his own bands, and then, in 1962, he joined The Beatles! He replaced another drummer and became the Ringo we all know and love.

Did you know Ringo also acted in movies? He was in some of The Beatles' films and many others! After The Beatles broke up, he had his own hit songs like 'Photograph' and 'You're Sixteen.' He even helped make the show 'Thomas & Friends' super fun by being the narrator! He's like a musical superhero who can do anything.

Ringo's drumming style was special. He played with his heart, and it made other drummers think differently about how they played. He's so good that he's in the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame and was voted one of the best drummers ever! He's even been knighted, which means he's Sir Ringo now. How cool is that?
