Rebellion of the Seven States

A long, long time ago, in a land called China, there was a big boss called an Emperor. He was like the principal of a giant school. But some of the kings who ruled smaller parts of the land didn't like him telling them what to do.

They felt like they had their own kingdoms and should make their own rules! So, seven of these kings decided they'd had enough and started a big argument, which turned into a rebellion!

These seven kings wanted to be more in charge of their own areas. The Emperor, however, wanted to be the ultimate boss of everything and make sure everyone followed his rules exactly. He wanted to bring all the power to his main office.

The kings thought this was unfair. They believed their kingdoms were special and shouldn't be controlled so tightly. So, they joined forces to show the Emperor they meant business!
