Rasmus Højlund

Imagine a superhero on a football field! That's Rasmus Højlund. He's a Danish football player who loves to score goals. He plays as a striker, which means he's the player who tries to get the ball into the other team's net. He's known for being quick and strong, making him a real threat to defenders!

Rasmus started playing football when he was just a young boy in Copenhagen, Denmark. He joined the youth academy of a club called FC Copenhagen. When he was 17, he played his first game for the big team! He scored some goals there and then moved to play in Austria, and then to Italy, before joining a famous team in England called Manchester United. Wow, he moved around a lot!

Rasmus's main job is to score goals, and he's really good at it! He's fast and can kick the ball very hard. When he plays for Denmark, he wears the special jersey for his country. Scoring goals for your country is a huge honor and makes lots of people cheer!

Rasmus also plays for the Denmark national football team. This is like playing for your school's best team, but for the whole country! He started playing for the younger teams for Denmark and now plays for the grown-up team. It’s a big dream for any young player to represent their country on the world stage.
