Pushpa Kamal Dahal

Imagine a leader who has been in charge of a whole country, like being the captain of a big team! That's Pushpa Kamal Dahal. He was born a long, long time ago, on December 11, 1954.

People also call him by a special nickname, Prachanda. He has led Nepal, a beautiful country with tall mountains, as its prime minister not just once, but three times! That's like winning a big game three times in a row!

When Pushpa Kamal Dahal was a young boy, he saw that some people didn't have enough food or homes. This made him want to help. So, when he grew up, he decided to join a political group called the Communist Party.

He worked very hard and became a leader in this party. He was even the boss of the party during a time when Nepal had a big disagreement, called a civil war. After that, he helped make peace and became prime minister for the first time in 2008.

Then, he was prime minister again from 2016 to 2017. His most recent time as prime minister was from December 2022 until July 2024. That's a lot of years leading the country!
