Pneumatic motor

A pneumatic motor is like a special engine that runs on air! Instead of gasoline, it uses compressed air, which is air squeezed into a small space. This air then pushes and pulls parts inside the motor to make them spin or move back and forth. Think of it like blowing up a balloon and then letting the air out really fast – that rush of air can make things happen!

People have been playing with air power for a very long time, maybe even hundreds of years! Early inventors figured out that they could use air to do work. Over time, these air engines got bigger and stronger. Some were small enough to hold in your hand, like a power tool, while others were much bigger. Pneumatic motors are super useful because they can be very safe. They don't make a lot of sparks, which is good in places where there might be flammable stuff. These motors work by letting the compressed air escape. As the air rushes out, it pushes on little parts inside the motor. These parts might be like tiny paddles (vanes) that get spun around, or like little pistons that move up and down in cylinders, just like in a bicycle pump. This spinning or pushing motion is what makes the motor do its job, like turning a drill or lifting something heavy.
