Peter Jackson is a super famous movie director from New Zealand. He loves making big, exciting movies that take you to magical places. His most famous movies are about hobbits, elves, and brave heroes on amazing adventures. He also made a movie about a giant ape climbing a tall building!

Peter started making movies when he was young, even before he was famous. His first movie was a funny, messy horror comedy called Bad Taste! Then he made movies about puppets and zombies.
