Peggy was an actress, which means she pretended to be different people on TV shows and in movies. She was also a model, posing for pictures, and even a singer! She was a bright star who made people smile with her performances.

Peggy became famous for playing a character named Julie Barnes in a show called The Mod Squad. This show was about young detectives solving mysteries! Julie was a 'flower child,' which meant she loved peace and nature. Peggy was so good that people loved her! She was even nominated for special awards, like the Golden Globe, which she won!

After being on The Mod Squad for many years, Peggy took a break from acting. She got married to a musician named Quincy Jones, and they had two wonderful daughters, Kidada and Rashida.
