Peanut the Squirrel Star!

Peanut was a special eastern gray squirrel, born around 2017. He wasn't just any squirrel; he was a little guy who needed help! A kind person named Mark Longo found Peanut when he was just a baby.

Mark took care of him, and Peanut grew up to be a very popular little friend. He even had his own Instagram page where lots of people loved to see his adventures and cute moments. Peanut was like a tiny celebrity in the squirrel world!

Imagine having thousands of friends who love to see your pictures! That's what happened to Peanut. His human friend, Mark, shared photos and videos of Peanut on Instagram.

People from all over the world saw how cute and playful Peanut was. He became famous because he was so unique and brought smiles to so many faces. It’s like if your pet hamster became famous on TV for being extra cuddly and funny!

Sadly, Peanut's story took a sad turn in October 2024. Officials came to Mark's house and took Peanut away. They did tests to make sure he was healthy, and thankfully, he didn't have any sickness.

But Peanut was not returned to Mark. This made many people very upset because they loved Peanut so much and wanted him to be safe and happy. It shows how much people cared about this little squirrel star.

Even though Peanut was a squirrel, his story made a big impact. When he was taken away, many people felt sad and angry. They wanted to make sure that other animals like Peanut would be treated fairly.
