Parliament of Pakistan

The Parliament of Pakistan is like the country's super-important meeting place. It's where people chosen by citizens get together to talk about laws and decisions for everyone in Pakistan. Think of it as the place where the biggest 'yes' or 'no' votes happen for the country.

It's made up of two main parts, like two teams working together to make sure everything runs smoothly. The President is also part of this big team, like the captain of the whole group!

All these important meetings happen in a special building called the Parliament House. It's located in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. This building is super grand and has two separate rooms, one for each part of the Parliament. If they all need to meet together, they use the bigger room. Lots of people get to be part of the Parliament! Most of them are chosen directly by people voting, like picking your favorite toy. About 80 out of every 100 rule-makers are elected this way. The other 20 are chosen for special reasons, like making sure women and people with different beliefs are also heard. It's important that many different kinds of people have a say!
