One Thousand and One Nights

Once upon a time, there was a clever queen named Scheherazade. The king was very sad, so Scheherazade told him a story every night. But she always stopped at the most exciting part! The king wanted to hear more, so he let her live to tell the next part the following night. This happened for 1,001 nights, and that’s how we got the amazing book called One Thousand and One Nights!

These stories are like a giant treasure chest filled with tales from different places and times. They started as stories told by people in places like Persia, India, and Arabia a very, very long time ago. Over hundreds of years, people collected these stories and put them together. It’s like a giant collection of bedtime stories that grew and grew!
