Israel's Big Surprise Attack on Iran!

In October 2024, Israel did something called Operation Days of Repentance. It was like a big, surprise mission! Israel sent lots of planes, over 100, to fly very, very far to Iran.

They also sent planes to places called Iraq and Syria. This was a very big attack, the biggest on Iran in a long time. Israel said they did it because Iran had attacked them earlier that month.

It was like a game of tag, but with real planes and special targets!

These weren't just any planes! They were super-fast jets, like F-35 stealth fighters, which are hard to see. They flew about as far as driving across your whole country and back! They carried special heavy bombs. Some planes even snuck into Iran's sky! They were aiming for places that made weapons and defended the country. It was a very long and tricky journey for these amazing flying machines.

The planes hit about 20 places in Iran. They targeted places where Iran made rockets and drones, and also places that helped protect the country from attacks. Israel said all their planes came back safely. Some people in Iran were hurt, and sadly, four soldiers were reported to have died. It was a very serious event with real consequences for the people involved.

Israel said that after this attack, they could fly more easily in Iran's sky. The United States, a friend of Israel, said that Iran would have a very hard time making new rockets and drones for at least a whole year! This means Iran's ability to make certain weapons was seriously hurt. It was a big deal because it changed how things were between these countries for a while.
