No Devotion: Rock Band Adventures!

Imagine a band where the singer is like a superhero from America, and the other members used to be in a famous band from Wales called Lostprophets! That's No Devotion! They got together in 2014 to make amazing music. It’s like a dream team of musicians coming together to create something new and exciting. They wanted to make songs that would make you want to jump and sing along!

No Devotion started in two places in Wales: Pontypridd and Cardiff. Think of it like two playgrounds joining together to make one giant, super fun playground! The idea came from Stuart Richardson and Lee Gaze, who were already in Lostprophets.

They decided to team up with Geoff Rickly, who is the singer from a band called Thursday. It was a big musical adventure that began with a spark of creativity!

The band’s very first album was called 'Permanence' and it came out in 2015. It was produced by a super talented person named Dave Fridmann. To get everyone excited, they released four songs from the album as special singles: 'Stay', '10,000 Summers', 'Addition', and 'Permanent Sunlight'. These songs were like little sneak peeks of the awesome music that was coming their way!

Even though the band took a little break starting in 2016, they didn't stop thinking about music! After a few years, they announced in 2022 that a second album, called 'No Oblivion', was on its way. This shows that even when things pause, great music can still be made. It’s like waiting for your favorite toy to be restocked – it’s worth the wait!
