New York Dolls

Imagine a super busy city called New York! That's where the New York Dolls band started way back in 1971. It was a place full of energy and exciting things happening. This city is famous for its tall buildings and lots of people, and it's where the Dolls got their big ideas for their music and their super cool, colorful outfits. The New York Dolls were like a shooting star! They formed in 1971 and made two amazing albums, like two big music parties. But then, sadly, they stopped playing together in 1976. Later, in 2004, they got back together for a while and made even more music! It’s like a story with a surprise comeback. Sadly, all the original band members are no longer with us, but their music lives on.

These musicians were super unique! They wore sparkly clothes, bright makeup, and even high heels, which was very different for bands back then. They looked like they stepped right out of a fabulous costume party!
