National Democratic Alliance (Georgia)

In the country of Georgia, there was a special team called the National Democratic Alliance. It was like a super-group made up of two smaller teams: the National Democratic Party and the Union of Georgian Traditionalists. They joined forces to try and help lead their country.

Think of it like two different clubs at school deciding to work together on a big project to make the playground awesome for everyone!

In the year 2004, there was a big election in Georgia, kind of like when you vote for class president. The National Democratic Alliance wanted to get lots of votes to have a say in how the country was run. They worked really hard, but in that election, they got about 2.61% of all the votes. That's like if there were 100 kids voting, and only about 2 or 3 voted for their team.

Even though they didn't win the most votes, this alliance was important because it showed different groups of people in Georgia trying to work together. It's like when different friends with different ideas come together to plan a surprise party. They might not agree on everything, but they all want the party to be a success. This alliance was a way for different political ideas to be heard.

The name 'National Democratic Alliance' tells us a lot! 'National' means it was about the whole country of Georgia. 'Democratic' means they believed in people having a say and voting. And 'Alliance' means they were joined together, like friends holding hands. So, it was a team for the whole country that believed in everyone's voice being heard.
