Nat wasn't just a singer; he was also a fantastic jazz piano player. He started his career playing music with his own band, the King Cole Trio. They were so popular that they were the biggest stars on their record label back then!

Nat King Cole sang so many wonderful songs that lots of people loved. Some of his most famous tunes are 'Unforgettable,' 'Mona Lisa,' and 'The Christmas Song.' His voice was so special that when he sang 'The Christmas Song,' it became the best-selling Christmas album of the 1960s! That's a lot of happy holiday listeners!
A Special TV Show Star!
Guess what? Nat King Cole was one of the very first Black Americans to have his very own TV show! It was called 'The Nat King Cole Show.' He invited all sorts of guests to sing and chat with him. This was a really big deal back then, showing that music and talent can bring everyone together.
