MS Black Watch (1971)

The MS Black Watch was like a super-duper big boat, a cruise ship that carried lots of people on exciting adventures across the ocean. It was built a long, long time ago in a place called Finland. This ship started its life as the Royal Viking Star, the very first ship for a company called Royal Viking Line. It sailed for many years, taking people to amazing places. Later, it changed its name and sailed for other companies, like Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Cruise Line. It was like a chameleon, changing its look and name for new adventures!

The MS Black Watch was important because it was one of the first big cruise ships that made traveling the ocean super fun and fancy. It showed people that sailing could be a wonderful vacation. It was a star of its time, helping people see the world from a whole new perspective on the water.

After many years of sailing and adventures, the MS Black Watch has reached the end of its journey. It was taken to a place called Alang in India, where ships go when they are too old to sail anymore. Here, it is being carefully taken apart, like a giant Lego set, so its parts can be used again.
