M&M's

Imagine tiny, colorful buttons made of chocolate! That's what M&M's are. Each one has a crunchy candy shell that comes in lots of fun colors like red, blue, and yellow. Inside that shell is yummy chocolate. They are small enough to pop right into your mouth for a sweet treat. You can find them in bags and boxes everywhere!

A long, long time ago, in 1941, two friends named Forrest Mars and Bruce Murrie decided to make a special candy. They put their first letter, 'M', together to name it M&M's! They wanted to make chocolate that wouldn't melt in your hands, even on a warm day. That's why they put the candy shell around the chocolate. It was a super smart idea!

M&M's are famous for their special trick: they melt in your mouth, but not in your hand! This means you can eat them outside or in warm weather without making a sticky mess. They are also super fun because they come in so many colors. Sometimes, they even have different yummy things inside, like peanuts or crispy bits!

The first M&M's had plain chocolate inside. But then, they started making new kinds! There are M&M's with crunchy peanuts, creamy peanut butter, and even crunchy pretzel pieces inside. Some are made with dark chocolate for a different taste. There are so many different kinds to try, it's like a candy adventure!
