Imagine a land called Euchronia, which is a bit like our world but with knights, magic, and a big royal tournament! A king has passed away, and now a special competition is happening to choose a new ruler. Our main character, Will, is a brave boy who knows the prince.

The prince is asleep because of a curse, and Will wants to help him wake up. He'll travel all over Euchronia, meeting new people and trying to win the tournament!

This amazing game started as a secret project called 'Project Re:Fantasy' way back in 2016. For a long time, nobody knew much about it! It took many years for the game makers, Studio Zero, to finish it.

Finally, in 2024, it was ready to be played on computers and game consoles like PlayStation and Xbox. It’s like a secret toy that took a long time to build but is super fun when it’s finally ready!

Guess what? On the very first day Metaphor: ReFantazio came out, one million people bought it! That's like everyone in a big city playing the game! People loved the story, the beautiful pictures, and how it made them think about real-life problems. It even won a big award called the Grand Prize at the Japan Game Awards. It’s a super popular game that many people enjoy playing.

Will, the hero of our story, is an orphan boy who can use magic. He’s also friends with the prince who is cursed to sleep. To help the prince and find a way to break the spell, Will joins the Royal Tournament.

This tournament is a big deal because the winner gets to become the next king or queen! Will has to travel far and wide, convince people to support him, and face many challenges on his journey.
