Marc Cucurella

Imagine a superhero on a soccer field! That's kind of like Marc Cucurella. He's a professional soccer player from Spain who plays a super important job on the field. He runs up and down the left side of the field, like a speedy race car, helping his team score goals and stop the other team from scoring. He plays for a famous team called Chelsea and also for the Spanish national team!

Marc started playing soccer when he was very young, just like you might play in your backyard or at school. He played for a famous team called Barcelona when he was a bit older. Then, he played for other teams like Eibar and Getafe, where he played over 100 games! That's a lot of games! He then moved to England to play for Brighton and now plays for Chelsea, one of the biggest teams in the world.

Marc has some really cool soccer superpowers! He's known for being super fast and great at dribbling the ball, which means he can run with the ball without the other team taking it. He's also a fantastic defender, meaning he's really good at stopping the other team from scoring. He even helped his team win a special trophy called the Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup!

Not only does Marc play for his club team, but he also plays for his country, Spain! He's played for Spain in many different age groups, from when he was a teenager all the way up to the Olympic Games. He even won a silver medal at the Olympics!

He also played in a big tournament called UEFA Euro 2024, and guess what? Spain won the whole thing! That's like winning the biggest prize in a giant game.
