He became famous for playing a character named Dylan McKay on a TV show called Beverly Hills, 90210. Imagine being so good at acting that everyone wants to watch you! He also played Fred Andrews on another show called Riverdale. He was like a superhero dad on that show!

He was on Beverly Hills, 90210 for many years, from 1990 to 1995, and then came back for more fun from 1998 to 2000. That's like going to school for a long, long time! He also lent his voice to a character named Rick Jones in The Incredible Hulk cartoons. He was part of the Marvel Comics world!
