Imagine a sunny place called Anaheim, in California, which is part of the giant Los Angeles area. This is where the Los Angeles Angels baseball team calls home! They play their games in a big stadium called Angel Stadium.

It's a place filled with cheering fans and exciting baseball plays. The team is part of a big baseball league called Major League Baseball, and they play in the American League West Division. It's a super fun place to be on game day!

Long, long ago, in 1961, a new baseball team was created in Los Angeles. Its name came from an even older team that used to play there. At first, the team was called the Los Angeles Angels.

Then, they moved to a city called Anaheim and were called the California Angels for a while. Later, they were the Anaheim Angels. Finally, they became the Los Angeles Angels again, but sometimes people called them the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

It's like the team kept changing its nickname!

The Angels have had some super talented players! One player, Nolan Ryan, was so good he threw seven amazing no-hitters. That means he didn't let the other team hit the ball at all for a whole game!

The team also won their very first World Series in 2002, which is like winning the biggest championship in baseball. They only played in the World Series once, and they WON! That's pretty special.

They've had other amazing players like Vladimir Guerrero and Mike Trout who have won big awards.
