Linford started his amazing running career a long, long time ago. He was so fast that he was the first European runner to run 100 meters in less than 10 seconds! He also set records for running indoors, which is like running super fast inside a big building.

Linford won more medals than any other British male athlete ever! He won 24 medals in total. That's like collecting every single sticker and trading card you could ever imagine.
