Lena Zavaroni

Lena Zavaroni was a super talented singer from Scotland. When she was just 10 years old, she released her first album called 'Ma! (He's Making Eyes at Me)'. This album was so popular that it became one of the top 10 albums in the UK! That's like getting a gold star on your very first try. Lena also had her own TV show and appeared on lots of other shows, shining bright like a little star.

Lena was born in Scotland on November 4, 1963. She started singing at a very young age and her voice was amazing. Her first big hit album came out when she was only 10. This made her famous very quickly! She was younger than most kids starting school when she became a music sensation. She even performed on stage and on television, sharing her wonderful voice with everyone.

Lena's album 'Ma! (He's Making Eyes at Me)' was a huge success. It reached the top 10 charts, which means lots and lots of people bought it! Being the youngest person ever to have an album in the top 10 is a really big deal. It shows how special her singing was. Even though Lena was a famous singer, she faced some tough times. From the age of 13, she struggled with an eating problem called anorexia nervosa. Later, she also felt very sad, which is called depression. Doctors tried to help her feel better. Sadly, Lena passed away when she was 35 years old. Her music and her story are remembered by many.
