Labour Party (Norway)

The Labour Party is like a big team in Norway, a country way up north in Europe. They want to make sure everyone in Norway has a fair chance at things. Their main idea is that 'everyone shall be included'!

This means they try to help everyone, from kids to grown-ups, and make sure nobody is left out. They've been around for a super long time, since 1887, which is even before your grandparents' grandparents were born!

This team believes that everyone should have help when they need it. They want a strong 'welfare state', which is like a big safety net. This means they think taxes should help pay for important things like schools, hospitals, and making sure everyone has a home.

They also believe in working together, both in Norway and with other countries around the world. They even have a special team for young people called the Workers' Youth League!

Guess what? The Labour Party has been the biggest team in Norway for a really, really long time! They first got to lead the country way back in 1928.

And since 1935, they've been in charge for almost all the time! For a while, they were so popular they had more than half of the seats in the big meeting hall where Norway's laws are made. That's like having more than half the class agree on everything!

The person in charge of the Labour Party right now is Jonas Gahr Støre. He's like the captain of the team, and he's also the Prime Minister, which is the top leader of Norway. They work hard to make Norway a great place for everyone. They believe in being fair and making sure that even if things change, like how businesses work, everyone still feels safe and looked after.
