Hind Rajab's Story

Hind Rami Iyad Rajab, a five-year-old Palestinian girl, became a focal point of international attention following her death on January 29, 2024, in the Gaza Strip. Her family was attempting to flee Gaza City when their vehicle was subjected to shelling, resulting in the immediate deaths of her uncle, aunt, and three cousins. Hind and another cousin survived the initial attack.

In a harrowing display of resilience and a desperate bid for survival, the surviving cousin contacted the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to request assistance. During this communication, they reported being under attack by an Israeli tank, providing a critical detail about the circumstances of their plight.
