Jowzjan Province

Jowzjan is a special place way up in the north of Afghanistan. It’s like a big hug from the country, right next to a country called Turkmenistan. This province is made up of 11 smaller areas called districts, and scattered all over are hundreds of little villages where people live. It’s a busy place with lots of families calling it home!

The biggest city, where the leaders of Jowzjan live, is called Sheberghan. It’s the heart of the province, where lots of important things happen.
