John Donne

Imagine a person who loved words so much they could make them dance! That was John Donne. He was born a long, long time ago, around 1571 or 1572, in a place called London, England. He wasn't just any writer; he was a poet, a scholar, and even a soldier! He wrote poems that were like puzzles, full of surprising ideas and strong feelings.
