Horacio Rodríguez Larreta is a grown-up who used to be in charge of a super important job in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina! Imagine being the boss of a whole city, making sure everything runs smoothly. He was like the mayor, but his title was 'Chief of Government.' He was born a long, long time ago, in 1965. He's an economist, which means he's really good with numbers and money!

Horacio was the boss of Buenos Aires for a while. He was so good at his job that people voted for him again and again! In one election, almost everyone who voted picked him, which is like winning a game by a landslide. He won in most parts of the city, which are called 'comunas.' It means lots of people trusted him to lead.

After being the city's leader, Horacio wanted to do an even bigger job: he wanted to be the President of Argentina! That's like wanting to be the captain of the whole country's team. He told everyone he was running for president. He even competed against another person from his own team to see who would be the best choice for president.

Even though he wanted to be president, he didn't win the chance to run for the top job. Another person from his team, named Patricia Bullrich, got more votes to be the candidate. But even though he didn't win that time, Horacio has done many important things for his city and his country. He's a person who likes to help lead and make decisions.
