This incredible vision helps them spot tiny movements of prey from very far away. They can also see colors, just like us, which helps them find food and navigate their world. Their eyes are big and protected by a special bone, like a built-in helmet!

Águilas are found all over the world, in many different kinds of homes! You can find them in the big forests of Europe and Asia, or soaring over the mountains in North America. Some even live in the deserts. They like places where they can find plenty of food and a safe spot to build their huge nests, often called eyries, high up in trees or on cliffs. They are truly masters of the sky!
