God in Christianity

Christians believe in God, who is like the ultimate super-creator! God made the whole universe, from the tiniest ant to the biggest star. Imagine someone who can be everywhere at once, like a superhero!

That's how Christians think of God. God is super powerful and knows everything. God is also loving and wants to be close to people, even though God is way bigger and more amazing than anything we can see.

This is a super cool idea! Christians believe God is one, but also like three in one. Think of it like an egg: it's one egg, but it has a shell, the white, and the yolk.

God is like that! There's God the Father, who is like the loving parent. There's God the Son, Jesus, who came to Earth to show people how to live.

And there's the Holy Spirit, who is like God's helper, always around. They are all God, together!

God is not like us. God is 'transcendent,' which means God is way beyond our world, like being on the moon while we're on Earth. But God is also 'immanent,' meaning God is right here with us, like a friend sitting next to you. God loves everyone and wants to help. This is why Christians believe God sent Jesus to Earth. God's greatness is so big, it holds everything in the whole universe!

For a very, very long time, people have believed in God. Early Christians wrote about God and Jesus. They said Jesus was part of God.

Some people thought this was strange, but most Christians agreed. Over hundreds of years, wise people thought and talked a lot about God. They wrote down what they believed, like how God is all-powerful and all-loving.

This helped Christians understand God better and better.
