Feodor Vassilyev

Feodor Vassilyev was a farmer from a place called Shuya in Russia. But he's not famous for farming! He's famous for having a HUGE family. His first wife, Valentina, had an amazing number of babies. She had 69 children in total! That's more than all the kids in your whole school put together! It's like having a classroom full of babies, then another, and another!

Valentina had babies in all sorts of groups. She had 16 sets of twins (that's 32 babies!), 7 sets of triplets (that's 21 babies!), and even 4 sets of quadruplets (that's 16 babies!). If you add them all up, it's 69! It's like a giant puzzle of babies. Sadly, not all of them survived when they were very young, but most of them did. That's still an incredible number!

Feodor didn't stop there! He had another wife, and with her, he had 18 more children. That means Feodor Vassilyev was a dad to a whopping 87 children! That's more kids than you can count on your fingers and toes, even if you had a friend helping you! This amazing number is even in a special book called the Guinness Book of World Records.

Having 69 children with one wife is the most ever recorded for any woman in the world! It's a record that makes you say 'WOW!' Feodor and Valentina's story is a little mysterious because we don't know the names or exact birthdays of all their children. But their incredible family size is a true wonder of history.
