Feed the Future Initiative

Have you ever wondered what happens when people don't have enough food? It's called hunger, and it's a big problem. The Feed the Future Initiative is like a team of superheroes from the United States government. They started this mission in 2010 to help people all over the world get the food they need. A few years before 2010, the price of food went up super high, like when your favorite toy suddenly costs way more! This made it hard for many families to buy food. So, in 2009, a very important leader, President Obama, said, 'We need to help!' He promised a lot of money to fight hunger.

Then, in 2010, the Feed the Future Initiative officially began, with lots of smart people working together to make it happen.
