Eric Yap

Imagine a grown-up who works hard to help lots of people! That's Eric Yap. He was born on May 11, 1979. Right now, he's like a special helper for the area called Benguet in the Philippines. He helps make sure people get the things they need, like medicine and support from the government. He's been doing this important job since 2020, and before that, he was also a helper in a different way!

Eric Yap is really good at coming up with ideas to help people. One super cool thing he helped create is called Malasakit Centers. These are like one-stop shops where people can go to get help with doctor visits and money for medical care.

It's like having a special place that makes it easier to get well. He also helped create a law to make a new special region called the Autonomous Region of the Cordillera.
