The Very First Kick-Off!

Did you know England's football team is super old? They played the very first international football game EVER, way back in 1872! That’s older than your grandparents’ grandparents! They played against Scotland, and it was the start of something amazing. They’ve been kicking balls and scoring goals ever since.

The Big Trophy Dream!

The England team has a special dream: to win the biggest prize in football, the World Cup! They actually won it once, in 1966, right in their own country! That was a HUGE celebration. They also try to win the European Championship, and they’ve come very close, being the second-best team a couple of times. So close!

Meet the Team!

The England team is made up of amazing players who are super fast and skilled. They wear a special white shirt with a red cross, and they are called the 'Three Lions' because there are three lions on their crest. They play for their country with all their might, hoping to make everyone proud!
