Emerald Island (EP)

It's a collection of songs, an 'EP' which means 'Extended Play'. This means it has more songs than a single, but fewer than a full album. Think of it like a really fun chapter in a music book!

The music on Emerald Island sounds like it came straight from the 1950s and 1960s! Back then, there was a music style called 'exotica' that was super popular. It was full of exciting sounds that made people feel like they were on a faraway adventure. This EP is like a time machine, taking you back to those groovy days with its special beats and melodies.

Just like a team of friends builds an awesome fort, a team of talented people created Emerald Island. David Schreurs and Jan van Wieringen were the main builders, making sure all the sounds fit together perfectly. David Schreurs also helped write the songs, along with Vincent DeGiorgio and Guy Chambers. They all worked together to bring this musical island to life!

When Emerald Island was released, it was like the start of a super exciting party! The singer, Caro Emerald, went on her biggest tour ever, called the 'Emerald Island Tour'. This means she traveled to many places to sing these songs live for her fans. It was a big celebration of this new music, and everyone was invited to join the fun!
