His job was to figure out if it would be sunny, rainy, snowy, or windy. He worked on TV in Cleveland, Ohio, and lots of people loved watching him tell them about the weather.

Dick Goddard loved his job so much that he did it for a really, really long time. He started in 1966 and kept going until 2016. That’s 50 whole years! He even has a special award from the Guinness World Records for being a weather forecaster for the longest time ever.
