Children's Day

This super idea started a long, long time ago, in 1925. Grown-ups from all over the world met at a big meeting called the World Conference on Child Welfare. They decided that kids needed their own special day to be honored. Later, in 1950, many countries started celebrating on June 1st. Then, another important day, November 20th, was chosen because of big promises made about kids' rights!

Children's Day reminds everyone that kids are the future! They are the ones who will grow up to be doctors, teachers, artists, and maybe even astronauts.
