Chandra Bahadur Dangi

Imagine a person who is shorter than a loaf of bread! That was Chandra Bahadur Dangi. He was born in a country called Nepal. Chandra was so small that he was the shortest man in the whole world, ever! He was only 54.6 centimeters tall, which is about as tall as a toddler. Even though he was tiny, he became super famous for his amazing record.

Chandra lived in a village far away in Nepal. One day, a person who worked with wood saw Chandra and was amazed by how small he was. This person told others, and soon, people from a special book called Guinness World Records came to measure Chandra. They confirmed he was the shortest adult human ever! It was like finding a tiny superhero who broke a big record.

Before Chandra, there was another very short man named Gul Mohammed. But Chandra was even shorter! He was 2.4 centimeters (almost an inch) shorter than Gul. This is a huge difference when you are that small! Chandra's record showed everyone that even the most unexpected people can achieve incredible things and be recognized worldwide.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi was born on November 30, 1939. He lived a long life and passed away on September 3, 2015. His story is a reminder that everyone is special in their own way.
