Cain and Abel

Imagine a time when there were no people on Earth except for one family! That's where Cain and Abel come in. They were the very first sons born to Adam and Eve, the first people ever. Cain was the older brother, and Abel was the younger. They lived in a beautiful garden called Eden. It was like the most amazing playground ever, but they had to be careful not to disobey their parents.

Cain became a farmer, growing yummy fruits and vegetables. Abel became a shepherd, taking care of fluffy sheep. Both brothers wanted to show God they were thankful. So, they each brought a special gift. Cain brought some of his crops, and Abel brought the best of his sheep. God liked Abel's gift very much! This made Cain feel very sad and angry inside.

Because Cain was so upset that God liked Abel's gift more, he did something very, very wrong. He got angry at Abel and hurt him. This was the very first time someone had hurt another person like that. It was a super sad moment for their family and for everyone who would ever live. It shows us how important it is to be kind and share our feelings nicely.

Cain and Abel are remembered because they are the first brothers in the whole world! Their story is in a very old book called the Bible. It teaches us about being good to each other, sharing, and how anger can lead to bad choices. Even though it's a sad story, it helps us understand how to be better people and how important family is.
